Very clean and very good location , close to convention center. Was in town for 90s con. Dunkin was next store; lots of places for food

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Hartford - Newington when I came up to visit my brother and family to celebrate Christmas. Was convenient to where my brother lives. Enjoyed the free breakfast. Room comfortable.

Breakfast was amazing , loved the pancake machine , might buy one , 3700 Lol Staff was great , Corey , Dominique , I would love to come once a month just for the breakfast , would def pay for it . I’m going to keep in touch .

The breakfast was set up very nice and was actually pretty tasty with good choices, the pool was a relaxing time when the lights are set to low(night), and the room/bathroom were comfortable.

Breakfast was very good but missing any fruit. Also would have liked waffle maker, although pancake maker was good too. Rooms were all nicely updated but our toilet seat showed wear.

There were some renovations taking place during the stay, which made things a little uncomfortable. The room we got was for handicap accessibility which we did not need and was not preferred for our stay.

Room was very clean and spacious. The door was missing the piece that allows the door not to open all the way if someone opens it from the hallway. The bed was comfortable but extremely high. I am 6' and if I sat on the bed, my feet were at least 6-7 inches off the ground.

Ok. I booked a room for 1 night about 3 hours before arriving. When I arrived the entire lobby was vacant and under construction. Also, There was nobody in the "Business Center " to check me in. Also, the room smelled faintly like smoke and poo. There was skid marks in the toilet. The air conditioner was blasting and the window was left unlocked.

The location was convenient. The breakfast was very good, and replenished as needed. The lady in charge of the breakfast was very nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable, as well as the pillows.

Breakfast was fine. The TV did not work. I asked three times. The toilet did not flush. Odd, my credit card was on hold in case I "trashed" the room. How about a refund?
